Advanced Obedience Training

Advanced Obedience takes the challenge a step further, requiring the dog to execute commands without a leash in highly distracting environments, including places with many people and various enticing or unfamiliar distractions.

Levels of Advanced Training

Level Four

Out in Public with Lots of People and Familiar Distractions - All commands are performed without a leash, demanding the dog to stay focused, disciplined, and responsive in a busy environment.
Sit-Stay: The dog sits and stays in place without a leash, showing discipline and patience at home and in the yard. 

Sit-Stay, Down-Stay: The dog remains in position despite significant distractions, including numerous people and familiar stimuli. 

Come When Called: Demonstrates exceptional recall without a leash, even in crowded or highly stimulating situations

Climb/Place: The dog stays on a specified spot or elevated area, ignoring distractions and following commands without a leash. Heeling: The dog maintains a close heel in a bustling environment, showcasing advanced training and focus on the handler.

Level Five

Environments with Lots of People and New or Highly Desirable Distractions:

This level tests the dog's training extensively, requiring obedience in the face of highly desirable distractions or completely new environments.

Sit-Stay, Down-Stay: Commands become crucial for the dog to maintain composure in highly challenging situations. 

Come When Called: The dog's recall is tested against strong temptations, proving the ability to prioritize the handler's command over immediate desires. 

Climb/Place: Demonstrates the dog's discipline to stay in a designated area despite overwhelming distractions or temptations. - Heeling: The ultimate test of walking closely without a leash in highly distracting or novel environments while staying close and attentive to the handler.
